Athearn 40’ 3-Bay Ribbed Hopper
Big news from Athearn this week as their only N Scale offering from this set of new product announcements contains nine Frisco road numbers in the 40′ 3-bay ribbed hopper.
Item/road numbers are as follows: ATH24478 (single car) 88470, ATH24479 (four pack) 88428, 88491, 88536, and 88575, and ATH24480 (four pack) 88443, 88477, 88502, and 88564.
Athearn lists the following feartures:

The MSRP for the single car is $19.98 and for the four packs is $74.98. Orders are due by January 24, 2013 and delivery is expected around August 2014.
Note that (unfortunately) road number 88470 is the same road number as a similar Micro-Trains offering a few years ago. The eight road numbers from the four-packs do not appear to duplicate offerings from any other manufacturer(s).
Nine road numbers are believed to be the largest single group of Frisco cars ever offered at one time and we hope that this is a sign of things to come.
