Micro-Trains continues to add to its tank car series with products that are of interest to the Frisco modeler. The May 2014 releases include another car to add to the fleet.

An online article chronicles the history of the Mid-Continent Petrolium Corporation, and most people familiar with Friscoland will remember DX Gasoline Stations. This car will help (what may have been) a small tank car fleet grow for most Frisco N Scalers.

Micro-Trains promotional language states: This 39’ Single Dome Tank Car is painted black with white lettering and large white herald. It was built in June 1927 at the ACF Milton PA Plant for Mid-Continent Petroleum Corporation. This ARA Spec III, non-coiled insulated tank car with Bettendorf trucks ran the South/Southwest region into the 1950s.
