Atlas B30-7 Locomotive

Atlas has announced new roadnumbers (and one old one) in their B30-7 locomotives.

Previous roadnumbers released in this series were 864 and 866.

Newly announced roadnumbers are 863, 866, and 870. Corresponding DC-powered item numbers are 40 002 391, 40 002 392, and 40 002 393. DCC-equipped models have corresponding item numbers 40 002 419, 40 002 420, and 40 002 421.

Atlas lists the following features:

• Directional lighting
• Golden-white LEDs
• Dual brass flywheels
• Low-friction mechanism
• Accurate painting and lettering
• Factory-installed AccuMate® magnetic knuckle couplers

The MSRP for the DC-powered models is $124.95 and with the DCC decoder installed $154.95. The models are slated to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2015.

Note that it is unclear why roadnumber 866 is being re-issued. If this is determined to be an error we will correct this as soon as we receive confirmation.
