Atlas N Trainman® 40′ Double Door Boxcar – MRS
The February releases from the Atlas Model Railroad Company contain a second release of interest to Frisco modelers: Two road numbers of their 40 foot double door boxcar in Manufacturers Railway Company livery. As in the refrigerator cars noted in the post prior to this one, these cars were used by the brewery in St. Louis to haul their products out of the producing factories. The Manufacturers Railway was owned by Anheuser-Busch.
Many Frisco modelers will find these appropriate for their layouts.

The item/road numbers are 50 001 276/7501 and 50 001 277/7505. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price for each car is $17.95 and delivery is slated for the third quarter of 2013.
